First Foundations Academy is a nonprofit Christian childcare and early learning center offering full-day and year-round care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers from across LaGrange, GA & Troup County.

Choosing where your child spends their days is one of the biggest decisions you'll ever make, and we don't take that lightly. We're a non-profit ministry of LaGrange First United Methodist Church, built to give the children of our community top-notch early education inside a warm Christian framework. Here, your little one is cared for as a whole person: mind, body, heart, and spirit.

Faith here is woven into everything we do. It’s the kindness in our classrooms and the wonder we nurture as children explore God's world. Even our classroom names are drawn from Scripture, chosen with purpose and prayer.

Built for real, working families

We're open year-round, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. And through the Brightwheel app, you'll get photos and updates on meals, naps, and milestones right on your phone so you won’t miss a thing.

Infant Care

Little Lambs & Gentle Doves

6 weeks – 16 months

Gentle, attentive care for your littlest one, with safe-sleep practices and a 1:3 ratio that keeps your baby close and known.

Toddler Care

 Faithful Turtles, Busy Bees & Clever Foxes

12 months – 3 years

This is the stage where curiosity takes off. Hands-on discovery, early routines, and loving guidance for your busy, growing toddler.

Preschool & Pre-K

Wise Owls, Brave Bears & Soaring Eagles

3 – 5 years

These are the send-off years. We pour into kindergarten readiness so your child walks into their next chapter confident and ready.

A Ministry for the Community

First Foundations Academy exists because a church and a community believed LaGrange and Troup County families deserved early education rooted in love and faith. We're a partnership between your family, our staff, and our church.  You are your child's first and most important teacher, and we're honored to walk alongside you in these precious early years.

Join our volunteer community

Join our growing community of over 250 volunteers across the world, and make an impact in the lives of children with ASD and their families. There are numerous ways to help out.

With as little as US $5/month, you can make a huge impact on a child's life. Your donation will help a child with ASD stay in daycare, receive personal care, food, and enjoy art therapy classes.
