Curriculum & Kindergarten Readiness
A Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate curriculum that prepares children in LaGrange, GA and Troup County, for kindergarten and beyond.
First Foundations Academy uses Experience Curriculum, a research-based, play-based early childhood program for children from infancy through age five.
Each month brings a new hands-on theme, with lessons and materials that build real skills across language and literacy, math, science, social studies, creative arts, physical development, and social-emotional growth. It's fully aligned to early learning standards in all 50 states, as well as Common Core, NAEYC, and Head Start.
We weave our Christ-centered framework through all of it, so your child grows academically and spiritually at the same time.
We Teach the Whole Child
Our curriculum nurtures five areas of development in every classroom:
Intellectual
Language and literacy, math, science, social studies, and creative arts, taught hands-on, through play and discovery.
Physical
Fine and gross motor skills, healthy routines, and daily outdoor play.
Social
Sharing, cooperation, and positive guidance that helps children build real relationships.
Emotional
Self-regulation, confidence, and the security that comes from feeling safe and valued.
Spiritual
Faith woven naturally into the day as children explore and wonder at God's world.

Learning that Grows With Your Child
Each stage builds on the one before it. Our infants and toddlers develop through play, language, and discovery; our preschoolers and Pre-K students take on early academics, independence, and school-readiness skills. Children move to a new classroom based on their development and age, so the learning always meets them where they are.
Infant Care — 6 weeks – 16 months
Toddler Care — 12 months – 3 years
