FREQUENtlY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are the questions we hear most. If yours isn't here, just reach out. We'd love to talk.

We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. all year long. We close for a handful of public holidays and two staff development days each year. If Troup County Schools close for weather, we close too, and we'll let you know right away.

Enrollment & Getting Started

  • What ages do you care for?

We welcome children from six weeks through age 4 (turning 5).

  • Are you licensed?

Yes. We're a licensed early learning center regulated by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). We meet and exceed the state's training, safety, and ratio requirements.

  • How do we enroll?

Reach out and we'll walk you through it together. Enrollment starts with a registration form and fee. If your child's preferred classroom is full, you can join the waitlist and we'll reach out the moment a spot opens.

  • Can we visit before we enroll?

Please do. We have an open-door policy, and we genuinely mean it. The week before your child starts, we'll invite you both in to spend time in the classroom and on the playground, meet the teachers, and get comfortable before day one.

  • Is there a fee to register?

There's a one-time $100 registration fee when you enroll, and you won't pay it again for as long as your child stays with us. If a class is full and you join the waitlist, there's a $50 fee that we apply straight toward your registration once a spot opens.

Tuition & Fees

Faith & Learning

  • How much is tuition?

Tuition is weekly and depends on your child's classroom. Pricing ranges from $250-$320. Learn more about tuition here.

  • What does tuition cover & what makes your pricing different?

We're a non-profit ministry, not a for-profit business. Our facility was built through gifts from our church and community, which means your tuition goes toward your child's direct care and learning from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday — not toward paying back a building. That's a rare thing, and it's the reason we can keep more quality teachers for our kids.

  • Do we have to be Christian or members of the church to enroll?

Not at all. We open our doors to families of every background and welcome children without regard to race, religion, or national origin. Our Christian foundation shapes the warmth and values of this place, and every family is invited in exactly as they are.

  • What about kindergarten readiness?

We use Experience Curriculum, a research-based, play-based program aligned to early learning standards in all 50 states. We focus on the whole child — intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual — so by the time your little one becomes a Soaring Eagle, they're confident, curious, and ready for what's next.

Care & Safety

  • What are your teacher-to-child ratios?

Low, on purpose. Our infants start at a 1:3 ratio — one teacher for every three babies. Ratios stay small as children grow. It means your child is truly known, not just watched.

  • How will you keep me in the loop each day?

Brightwheel app is our main line to you. You'll get updates on meals, naps, and those little moments you don't want to miss, right on your phone, throughout the day.

  • How do you keep my child safe?

Safety is the foundation of everything. We're a secure-entry building, every child is signed in and out daily, and we release your child only to the people you've authorized. Our teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid, and we meet and exceed every DECAL safety standard.

  • Do you provide meals?

We provide a morning and afternoon snack plus water throughout the day. Lunch comes from home, so it can match your child's needs and preferences. (We're a peanut-sensitive facility. We'll go over the details when you enroll.)
